Discover Henry County

Welcome to Henry County, Tennessee, home of the World’s Biggest Fish Fry! Our vibrant community, located in Northwest Tennessee, is home to a broad and welcoming tourism industry.

We take pride in Paris Landing State Park and its handsome, new lodge overlooking Kentucky Lake. Nearby is the expansive Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge and state-of-the-art visitor center. There’s also plenty of live music on and near the water at a variety of venues. Bring the family and enjoy boating, fishing, camping, hiking, and myriad of outdoor activities on these public lands.

Downtown Paris is the heart of our community, where history, shopping, dining and seasonal events meet around the courthouse lawn. Murals created by local artists decorate many alleys of Downtown. These murals offer insight into the history of Paris and make for story-worthy photo opportunities. The Downtown Paris Association hosts a variety of annual events as do the Paris-Henry County Heritage Center, Paris-Henry County Arts Council, W.G. Rhea Public Library, and Paris School for the Arts, all located in the downtown footprint. Visit our events page to stay in the know.
